SprintBrain takes about two minutes to set up. By the end of this guide you will have the Chrome extension installed, a free account created, and your first snippet expanding in any text field — no password, no credit card, and no configuration files.

Steps

1

Install the Chrome extension

Open the SprintBrain page on the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. Confirm by clicking Add extension in the dialog that appears. After the extension installs, pin it to your Chrome toolbar so the SprintBrain icon is always one click away: click the puzzle-piece Extensions icon in the Chrome toolbar, find SprintBrain in the list, and click the pin icon next to it.
2

Sign in at app.sprintbrain.com

Go to app.sprintbrain.com and enter your work email. SprintBrain sends you two things at once: a magic link you can click to sign in instantly, and a 6-digit one-time code you can type directly on the page. No password is needed.Once you are signed in on the web, the extension signs in automatically — you do not need to enter your credentials a second time in the popup.
3

Create your first snippet

In the SprintBrain dashboard, click New Snippet. Give it a name, write the body text you want to expand, and set a trigger — for example /hello.Triggers work best with a prefix (like / or ;) that you would not normally type in everyday prose. You can change the default prefix at any time in Settings.
4

Expand your snippet anywhere

Open any website that has a text field — Gmail, Slack, a Google Doc, ChatGPT, your CRM, anywhere. Click into the text field, type /hello, and press Tab. The trigger disappears and your full snippet text takes its place instantly. If your snippet has dynamic fields like {{guest_name}} or {formtext:}, an inline overlay appears and asks for the values before inserting the finished text.

What to Do Next

Dynamic Fields and Formulas

Add {formtext:}, {formdate:}, and {formmenu:} to collect values at expansion time. Use live formulas to calculate totals and discounts automatically.

AI Prompt Library

Store your ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini prompts in a searchable library with quality scoring, strategy filters, and per-prompt shortcuts.

Team Sharing and Permissions

Share a folder with teammates at View, Edit, or Owner level. Everyone on the team gets the same approved wording — free, with no per-seat pricing.

Notion Sync

Connect a Notion database to mirror your library automatically every five minutes in both directions — ideal for teams that already write in Notion.
