Brains

A Brain is a collection of what your AI assistant should know about your work: facts, notes, documents and saved conversations. You keep it in SprintBrain, and add the relevant parts to a chat in ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant when you need them.

Create a Brain

One Brain is your default. It can’t be moved to the trash.

Fill a Brain

• Add text: write a fact, a note or a conversation. Give it a name, a one-line Summary and the Body. The editor shows how long it is in tokens, the unit AI assistants measure text in.
• Upload file: PDF, Word (.docx), text (.txt, .md) or CSV files up to 20 MB. SprintBrain reads the text and splits it into pieces your assistant can use.
• Always attached: switch this on for items that should go into every context you add, like your house style.

Keep each fact to a single idea. Short, separate items fit into a chat more easily than one long one. Each item keeps its earlier versions: open it and click History to see them and restore one.

Use a Brain in an AI chat

On ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, DeepSeek and Copilot, the extension adds a Context button next to the message box.

1. Start writing your message.
2. Click Context, or press Ctrl Shift M (Cmd Shift M on a Mac).
3. SprintBrain picks the items that match what you’re writing and puts them above your message as normal text.

You see exactly what will be sent, and you can edit or delete any of it before you send.

Save things into a Brain

• Selected text on any page: highlight it, right-click and choose Save selection to SprintBrain. Pick a Brain and click Save to Brain.
• A whole AI conversation: on a ChatGPT or Claude conversation, open the SprintBrain popup. A Save this chat card appears. Pick a Brain and click Save.

Trash

Items, files and whole Brains go to the trash first. Open Trash to restore them, or delete them for good. Deleting a Brain for good removes everything in it, files included.
