One snippet can hold a body for each language. They share the name, the trigger and the folder.

Add a language

Open the snippet

Click its row on the Snippets page.

Pick the language

Above Body, click EN, IT, ES or FR. A dot marks the languages that already have text.

Write that version

Type the body for that language. The other languages keep their own text.

Save

Click Save changes.
  • Multi holds one body that mixes languages. It gets no language check.
  • Clear removes the language on screen. The snippet is saved without it.
  • If the text doesn’t read like the language you picked, the editor says so and won’t save until you fix the text or pick the right language.

Insert a language

When a snippet has more than one language, SprintBrain asks you to Choose a language to insert.
  • In the right-click menu, the snippet opens a submenu with one entry per language.
  • To pick one language for you each time, set Default Language in the extension popup’s settings.
  • The snippet list can be filtered by language.

Words that follow the reader

  • {greeting} prints Good morning, Buongiorno, Buenos días or Bonjour to match the snippet’s language and the time of day. See Formulas.
  • A Person name field capitalises a name the way the snippet’s language does. See Fields.
  • Some greeting words agree with the name typed after them. In Spanish, Querido followed by a name field prints Querida Lucía when the name is Lucía. This works for common words like Querido, Estimado, Caro and Cher.
