Paste an email, a chat or a document, up to 20,000 characters, and click Write draft.
4
Check the draft and save
The draft fills the editor. Read every line, change what you like, then save as usual.
What the draft contains
- Snippet: a name, a trigger, the text and its language, plus a folder and labels when one of yours fits. Details that change each time, such as a name, a date or a choice between a few options, become fill-in fields. Amounts and other numbers stay as written.
- Prompt: a name, a shortcut when one fits, and the Role, Objective, Context, Examples and Constraints blocks. Details that change each time are written as placeholders in square brackets, such as
[topic]. - Brain item: a name, a one-line summary and a kind. Your text is kept exactly as you pasted it.
payment_terms_2, and so does a Brain item name that’s already taken, like Opening hours (2).
When a similar one already exists
Above the draft, Already in your library lists up to three items that look like it: the same trigger or shortcut, the same name, or much the same text.- Click a name to open that item. The draft closes without being saved.
- Click Update it instead to have the AI update that item with your text. Its editor opens with the new version and a line saying what changed. Its trigger or shortcut, folder and labels stay as they were. Nothing is saved until you click Save changes, and the item’s version history keeps the old text.
